Aiming to improve its 4G line up, Motorola released its smartphone namely Motorola Droid Bionic. Claimed to be the best 4G smartphone yet, Droid Bionoic is not only powered by 4G network, but also equipped by massive feature and excellent performance. Motorola Droid Bionic comes with a candybar and full touchscreen with plastic material exterior, beveled curves, rubberized battery cover, and metallic looking paint finished. Droid Bionic is the thinnest 4G LTE handset in its lineup measuring 127.5 x 66.9 x 11 mm with a reasonable weight. For the display, Droid Bionic uses 4.3 inches capacitive touchscreen support 16M colors. Right beneath the display, there are four capacitive touch buttons for Menu, Home, Back and Search function while a front VGA camera, an earpiece and a LED notification light sit directly above the display. The right side of the phone features volume rocker and microUSB port while the left side is microHDMI port. Screen Lock or Power Key is located at the top side of the phone. On the back side, there is an 8 megapixels camera and dual LED flash.
Droid Bionic is powered by Android OS v2.3.4 (Gingerbread) with the latest customized MotoBlur UI for Android. The user interface comes with MotoBlur’s custom-built widgets, including the social networking widget that can be personalized as well as resized. Navigating across its homescreen to running application takes a minimum effort with no slight lag. Thanks to its speedy Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and Nvidia Tegra 2 AP20H chipset, as well as 1 GB RAM and 2 GB ROM support.
