Following the success of Pursuit, Pantech comes back with its sequel, Pantech Pursuit II. It brings out touch and type experience along with great features such as a roomy slide-out QWERTY keyboard, GPS, 3G data network, HTML web browser, Bluetooth, and 2 megapixels camera. Closer look, here is the review of full details and specification of the phone.
Pantech Pursuit II comes with a touch screen and a slider design with full QWERTY keyboard bringing touch and type experience together. The phone’s body is covered up entirely by shiny, hard plastic material with a wavy back and rounded edges. Adding visual interest, there is a lime green accent band around the phone’s side.
The phone dimension measuring 101 x 61 x 15 mm and weighing 127 grams. On the front, there is 2.8 inches capacitive touch screen with 240 x 320 pixels resolution. Right below the screen, there are three physical round buttons for Call, Back, and End Call or Power functions. Volume rocker key is placed on the left side while on the right side are Screen Lock key and camera shutter. Slide phone up and there is 4 rows QWERTY keyboard matte plastic keys. In a portrait slide design, obviously the QWERTY keyboard becomes smaller but the keys remain large enough to type.
Pantech Pursuit II runs on GSM network and already supports HSDPA up to 3.6 Mbps data network. The web browser available supports WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML web pages. The web browser loads mobile sites quite fast, but for a complex web page (HTML) needs a much longer time. Other connectivity includes Bluetooth and microUSB connection as well as GPS navigation system with A-GPS support.
Pursuit II is also equipped by 2 megapixels camera that can capture images up to 1600 x 1200 pixels resolutions with an average quality. Some camera features are self-timer, color effects, brightness, and white balance as well as shutter sounds. The video camera comes with same setting for recording in maximum 320 x 240 pixels resolution. For storage, it has 217 MB internal memory and additional external memory up to 32 GB via microSD card.
