Together with Sprint, LG released one of its best Android smartphone namely LG Marquee. Some of its great features include Android Gingerbread OS, 1 GHz processor, 2 megapixels front camera, 5 megapixels main camera, GPS, and many more. In details, here is the review of Marquee by LG.
LG Marquee comes with a very slim body measuring only 122 x 64 x 9 mm. It also feels very light weighing 112 grams. On the front side, there is a 4 inches capacitive touch screen with NOVA display technology that makes the screen so bright and clear. The screen features 480 x 800 pixels resolution with 16M colors supports. Right below the screen, there are four capacitive keys that serve as Home, Menu, Back and Search functions. Meanwhile, a front facing camera is located above the screen. Exploring around the phone’s sides, there ports and physical buttons including a volume rocker, a customizable shortcut key, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a power key and a microUSB port. Camera lens and LED flash is located on the up left corner of the back side while single speakerphone is placed on the bottom left of the back side.
Under the hood, LG Marquee is powered by 1 GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor with 512 MB RAM and 2 GB ROM. To be able to serve its great performance, Marquee works on Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread). Home screen comes in five different pages that be customized by adding or removing widgets or application shortcuts. Coming to the connectivity, LG Marquee runs on Sprint’s CDMA networks and already supports CDMA 1xEV-DO Rev. A up to 3.1 Mbps data network. Stock Android web browser provided performs very well because it holds up HTML and Adobe Flash. While opening the web pages, you can use double-tap or pinch to zoom in and out the web pages. In addition, Marquee also arrives with other connectivity such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, DLNA, and microUSB v2.0 connection as well as GPS system with A-GPS support.

For camera features, LG Marquee is equipped by two cameras; a 2 megapixels front facing camera and a 5 megapixels main camera with autofocus and LED flash on the back side. The front facing camera is used for video chat and self-shoots. Meanwhile, the main camera manages to capture images up to 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution. Images that are captured outdoors under natural lighting come in a pretty good quality with good color and details. However, indoors environment seems not share those good qualities as images look grainy with poor details. The main camera can also record video in HD resolution of 720p at 30 fps. For the storage, LG Marquee offers 4 GB internal memory and additional external memory up to 32 GB via microSD card. In multimedia feature, LG Marquee comes with stock Android music and video players.
Messaging features of LG Marquee include SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email, and IM. Other features are pre-loaded Google service applications, SNS integration, Organizer, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Document viewer, Voice memo/dial/commands and Accelerometer. Lastly, LG Marquee is powered by standard battery Li-Ion 1500 mAh that is rated up to 6 hours 30 minutes of talk time.
