Pantech Link comes with a candy bar design plus a portrait QWERTY keyboard. It is constructed out of black plastic with patterned rubberized back cover. It is also very slim and lightweight measuring 115.2 x 60.9 x 9.9 mm and weighing 91 grams. On the front side, there is 2.4 inches QVGA LCD display with 262k colors support. Right below the display, there are navigation array keypad and full QWERT keyboard. Navigation array keypad consists of two soft keys, a speakerphone key, a Clear key, a round toggle, a Call key and an End Call or Power key. The left side of the phone sits the microSD slot and volume rocker while on the right side is charging port and camera shutter. On the back side, there are 1.3 megapixels camera with self-portrait mirror and speakerphone. Removing the back cover gives you access to the battery and SIM card slot.
Pantech Link runs on GSM network and already supports HSDPA data network. For internet experience, there are two web browser available; Opera Mini as the default and the Media Net browser. It is preferably to use Opera Mini browser as it provides fast page loads and automatic text fitting to adjusts the width of the display. Other connectivity includes Bluetooth, microUSB connection as well as GPS navigation system with A-GPS support.
Pantech Link is also equipped by 1.3 megapixels camera that can capture image in four resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 pixels resolution. Camera features include three quality setting, white balance, color effects, a self timer, and shutter sounds. The camera can also record video in maximum resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. For data storage, it is supported by internal memory and also additional external memory up to 32 GB via microSD card.
For multimedia feature, Pantech Link has built-in media player for playing music and video. The media player comes with basic setting as well as interface showing common items such as the album cover, artist, song, and some on-screen functions. The music player supports music in MP3/WAV/AAC formats while the video player supports MP4/H.263 video.
Messaging features of Pantech Link include text messaging (SMS), multimedia messaging (MMS), Instant Messaging and Email. The email feature gives you access to email providers such as Yahoo!, AOL, and Windows Live as well as your own POP or IMAP accounts.
Notification alerts include Vibration mode, Polyphonic (64) ringtones, and MP3 ringtones. Other features of Pantech Link are Organizer, Voice Memo, Games, and Java support. Supporting all of its features, Pantech Link uses Standard battery, Li-Ion 930 mAh. The battery life is rated up to 3 hours of talk time or up to 250 hours of standby time.
