The first HTC’s windows phone running on AT&T 4G LTE network, it is HTC Titan II. It has been announced recently and is expected to release on Q1, 2012. It comes with exquisite looks and superb features such as 4G LTE support, 16 megapixels camera, Windows Mango OS, 1.5 GHz processor, GPS, and many more. Closer inspection, let’s have a look at detail specification of the phone below.
HTC Titan II
HTC Titan II appears in candy bar and full touch screen design measuring 132 x 69 x 13 mm and weighing 147 grams. It looks compact and exquisite with metallic casing and soft touch coating. Located on the front is 4.7 inches S-LCD capacitive touch screen with 16M colors support and 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Below the screen are three touch-sensitive keys for Back, Home (in Windows logo) and Search function. A front facing camera is placed above the screen.
HTC Titan II is a windows phone running on Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS. To keep it works smoothly and responsive without lag, Titan II uses 1.5 GHz Scorpion Qualcomm S2 Snapdragon processor with 512 MB RAM. Come to data connectivity, Titan II runs on GSM network and AT&T’s LTE network. It is also powered by HSDPA, HSUPA and 4G LTE data network. For faster internet browsing, there is Internet Explorer 9 web browser with HTML5 and Adobe Flash support. Other connectivity provided includes WiFi, Bluetooth, DLNA, and microUSB connection. There is also GPS navigation system with A-GPS support and Bing Maps integration.
The superb feature coming with HTC Titan II is a 16 megapixels camera with autofocus and dual LED flash that is placed on the back side. Its superb camera can capture images up to 4640 x 3480 pixels resolution. Enhancing its performance, the camera comes with a bunch of features include Geo-tagging, BSI sensor, face detection, image stabilization, digital zoom, panorama mode, ISO control, wide angle F2.6 lens, and backside illumination. The camera can also record video in HD 720p resolution at 30 fps. Aside its superb camera on the back side, there is also a 1.3 megapixels secondary camera for video calls and self-portrait located on the front above the screen. To store data, Titan II provides 16 GB internal memory. Unfortunately, there is no additional external memory available. For multimedia features, Titan II is equipped by Windows Media Player for playing music and video. The media player support music in MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ formats and video in MP4/WMV/H.264/H.263 formats. There is also Stereo FM radio with RDS.
HTC Titan II is also equipped with messaging feature such as text messaging (SMS) in threaded view, multimedia messaging (MMS), Instant Messaging, and Email. Email service supports IMAP, POP3, SMTP, and Microsoft Exchange accounts. Other features include SNS integration, Organizer, Active noise cancellation with dedicated microphone, Document viewer and editor, Voice memo, Voice dial, Voice commands and Accelerometer. Supporting its performance, Titan II comes with standard battery Li-Ion 1730 mAh.
