Thrilling The 3D Experience With LG Thrill P925

The next generation of smartphone, it is LG Thrill P925 with 3D experience. LG Thrill P925 comes with a candy bar and full touch screen design. The phone is quite large and heavy measuring 128.8 x 68 x 11.9 mm and weighing 168 grams. For the display, Thrill is using 4.3 inches capacitive touch screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. What makes it so adorable is the touchscreen‘s capability of performing a glasses-free 3D view. To be able to view in 3D mode, you have to press the 3D button on the right side for a while. The screen then activates the parallax barrier to feed your eyes with 3D images and videos, which you can see without glasses.
The overall body of the Thrill is made of plastic material with a soft-touch coating on the back and a brushed metal-like finishing in the front. Above the screen is an earpiece and a front camera while below the screen, there are four capacitive touch screen with haptic feedback for Menu, Home, Back and Search key. The right side features volume control button and 3D button while the left side features Micro-USB port and an HDMI port. On the top side of the phone, there are 3.5mm headphone jack and screen lock or power button. Dual 5 megapixels cameras are placed in the back side.

LG Thrill P925 is powered by Android OS v2.2 (Froyo) which brings a fast load response to application with no slight of lag. Enhancing the 3D features, Thrill is also powered by Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and TI OMAP 4430 chipset as well as 512 MB RAM. By default, the interface appears in standard 2D mode. To experience 3D mode, just press the 3D button. There are seven different home screens that can be personalized. Scroll down the top side of the screen and you will find notification bar, just like other Android smartphone.

Messaging features of LG Thrill P925 include SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email, and IM. Browsing internet, Thrill is enhanced by HSDPA 14.4 Mbps or HSUPA 5.76 Mbps data connectivity as well as pre-installed Android Froyo browser with HTML and Adobe Flash support. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, HDMI, Bluetooth, and micro USB connection. There is also GPS navigation system with A-GPS support and Google Maps integration.

For camera, Thrill is equipped by three camera; dual 5 megapixels main cameras in the back side and a secondary camera in the front side. The dual main camera comes with autofocus and LED flash for capturing 2D and 3D images and videos. For video recording, the camera can record a HD video of 1080p resolution at 24fps (2D) and 720p resolution at 30fps (3D). Thrill provides 8 GB internal memory for storage and additional external memory via microSD card up to 32 GB. The multimedia features run its great performance with a support to play videos in 3D mode.

Other features of Thrill include Stereo FM radio with RDS, SNS integration, Document viewer/editor, Organizer, Voice memo/dial/commands, as well as pre-installed Google application. If the pre-installed applications have not satisfied you enough, you can still download thousands of Android applications.

Last but not least, LG Thrill P925 is supported by standard battery Li-Ion 1500 mAh. The battery life is rated up to 6 hours of talk time or up to 312 hours of standby time.
