Athens protest Jan 20, 2012

We are seeing a concentration of Athens where we believe a protest against austerity measures is happening now, January 20th 2012.   This map created with the clima.me twitter mapping tool.

We are seeing some concentrated tweeting from Syntagma square in Athens where a demonstration against austerity is planned.  We can not confirm at this time from the content of twitter that a large crowd has demonstrated, but there are far more tweeps on the ground there than we would normally see and we can only assume a demonstration is likely to take place.
