Strengthen its smartphone’s line; HTC came back this November with its new Windows phone called HTC X310E Titan. The phone is powered by Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango), 8 megapixels camera, GPS system, DLNA and other great features. In details, let’s have a closer look at review of its performances and specifications below.
It comes with a candy bar and full touch screen design measuring 131.5 x 70.7 x 9.9 mm. The front side of the phone is housed by 4.7 inches capacitive touch screen support 16M colors with S-LCD technology. The screen is also come with some features such as accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Multi-touch input method, and Gyroscope sensor. Above the screen, there is a front camera while below the screen are three capacitive buttons for Back, Home, Search key. On the left side, there is a microUSB port. On the right side sits volume control buttons and camera buttons. The lock button and 3.5 mm headset jack are placed on the top edge. On the back side, there is 8 megapixels camera with dual LED flash.
HTC X310E Titan is powered by Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) along with 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, and Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset. Moreover, the 512 GB RAM makes the phone runs smooth and fast even in multitasking mode.
HTC X310E Titan is equipped by two cameras; 1.3 megapixels front camera for video call and 8 megapixels main camera with dual LED flash on the back side of the phone. The camera can capture image as well as record videos of 720p resolution. For the storage, there is 16 GB internal memory with no additional external memory. The multimedia features include music player and video player. The music player can play music of MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC formats while the video player can play videos of MP4/WMV/H.264/H.263 formats. In addition, there is also Stereo FM radio with RDS.
HTC X310E Titan runs on a quad band GSM and HSDPA network. It also supports HSDPA 14.4 Mbps or HSUPA 5.76 Mbps for data connectivity. Internet browsing can be done using built-in Internet Explorer web browser supports WAP 2.0/xHTML/HTML web pages. Other connectivity includes WiFi, DLNA, WiFi hotspots, Bluetooth, and micro USB connection. In addition, HTC Titan is also equipped by GPS navigation system with A-GPS support and Bing Maps.
For messaging features, HTC Titan offers SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email and IM. The phone provides Mango email client and Microsoft Exchange as well as POP3/IMAP4 for email services. There is also social networking integration of Facebook and Twitter. Other features include Digital compass, Active noise cancellation, HDMI support, YouTube client, Pocket Office, Notes. Local Scout, and Bing Map. There is also more than 40.000 application available in Windows Phone Marketplace.
Last but not least, HTC X310E Titan is supported by standard battery Li-Ion 1600 mAh. It rated up to 10 hours of talk time or 15 days of standby time.
