Following the success of Galaxy series phone, Samsung comes back with new Samsung Galaxy Y S5360. Dedicated for Young generation, it comes with compact size, simple access and great features. Below, we have full details and specification of Galaxy Y.
Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 comes with full touchscreen design measuring at 104 x 58 x 11.5 mm and weighing at 97.5 grams. The front side of the phone is housed by 3 inches capacitive touch screen with 240 x 320 pixels resolution and supports 256K colors. Above the screen, there are earpiece and proximity sensor. Right above the screen there are a physical button in the middle for Home and two capasitive touch key for Menu and Back key. On the right side, there is volume controls while on the left side is Power/Screen Lock key. On the top of the phone, there are 3.5 mm headset jack and microUSB port. Speakerphone and 2 megapixels camera is placed on the back side of the phone.
Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 is powered by Android Gingerbread OS v2.3.5 and 830 MHz ARMv6 processor with TouchWiz User Interfaces. There are seven different pages of Home screen that can be personalized by adding different widgets, shortcuts or icons as well as Live Wallpaper. Main menu is ordered in a 3 x 4 icons with black transparent background. Scroll down the top side of the screen, and you will see notifications bar.
Messaging features include SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email, and Instant Messaging. The text inputs available are DioPen Chinese, Swype and Samsung keypad. Samsung keypad offers QWERTY keypad both work well on portrait and landscape view and also Numeric keypad, Handwriting box on portrait view.
Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 is equipped by 2 megapixels camera without autofocus and flash.
