Twitter Map Shows Tahrir Demo

Back to where this began, our clima.me tool shows a mass group of people collecting in Tahrir Square Cairo tweeting with mobile phones.

Drilling down to a semantic search of tweets being generated in the area show a very high concentration with twitter hashtag #Nov18 .  Many tweets on this hashtag show a large demo forming.

So in the global world of the Internet what comes goes around comes around.  US activists were inspired by Tahrir use of non-violent protest supported by the Internet, which lead ultimately to the Occupy movement, which just had the largest non-violent protest in recent US history, which seems to have inspired the Tahrir Square movement to re-occupy Cairo.
