The Revolution Will Be Tweeted

Since Tahrir Square 2011 has been a year of Internet enabled revolutions.  Recent events in Occupy movement in London and New York show that this has become global, with a new generation of protests using Twitter to communicate and coordinate.  These maps show mobile twitter distributions during major recent protests.
