BlackBerry Curve 9370 appears in a candy bar design with full QWERTY keyboard. It is made out plastic with soft-touch textured coating on the back side. It comes in a slim and lightweight body measuring 109 x 60 x 11 mm and weighing 99 grams. The display features 2.44 inches TFT screen with 480 x 360 pixels resolution. Above the screen, there is a notification light and earpiece speaker. Beneath the screen, there are four physical keys and an optical trackpad in the middle of those physical keys. The keyboard features full QWERTY keyboard arranged in four rows. Around the phone’s side is resided by a microUSB port, a 3.5 mm headset jack, a lock button, a camera shutter, and volume rocker. On the back side, there are camera lens and LED flash.

Under the hood, BlackBerry Curve 9370 is powered by 800 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM. Together with BlackBerry OS 7.0, it is sufficient enough to give smooth and responsive performance. Curve 9370 can be considered as a world phone as it supports local CDMA network and Global GSM network. In US, Curve 9370 will only works on local CDMA carrier. Once you go abroad outside US, you can still use the phone using any GSM SIM card. For data connectivity, it already supports CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A up to 3.1 Mbps. The pre-loaded web browser comes with HTML support that allows you to open complex web pages without a problem. Other connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, NFC, and microUSB v2.0 connection. There is also GPS navigation system with A-GPS support.

For the camera, BlackBerry Curve 9370 is equipped by 5 megapixels camera with LED flash but no autofocus.  It can capture images up to 2592 х 1944 pixels resolution in just average quality. Some of camera’s features include Geo-tagging, face detection, and image stabilization. It can also be functioned to record video in VGA resolution at 30 fps. For the storage, there is 1 GB internal memory and additional external memory up to 32 GB via microSD card. In multimedia feature, there is music player that can handle music in MP3/eAAC+/WMA/WAV/Flac formats and video player supports video in MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV formats.

Similar to other BlackBerry, one of the phone’s best features is its messaging feature. Messaging feature is integrated in one inbox that serves SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email, and Instant Messenger as well as BlackBerry Messaging application (BBM). Curve 9370 also features Organizer, Document To Go (for viewing, creating and editing Microsoft Office files), Voice memo, Voice dial, and Loudspeaker. Supporting all of its features, BlackBerry Curve 9370 comes with standard battery Li-Ion 1000 mAh. The battery life is rated up to 5 hours 30 minutes of talk time or 348 hours of standby time.
