With the continue high and surging tweeting from Tahrir (twitter hashtag #Tahrir) it is obvious that a large ongoing Internet organized protests against the Army is happening in the center of Cairo. At one point this afternoon the score for Tahrir reached 80, which was where it was the night Mubarak resigned. Normal for that area would be about 50 on our clima meter.
This has turned violent recently and could do so again at any moment. Hopefully the ability of people in the Square to keep the world informed via mobile web technology and social networks will keep pressure on the American government to keep the Egyptians in line.
