The new Sony SDHC cards of 30 MB / write speed

Sony has announced at CES 2012 exhibition next generation SDHC cards that can attain write speeds of up to 30 MB / s. Designed specifically for 3D HD camcorders or DSLR cameras shooting function, new SDHC cards have improved performance, exceeding the speed required for transfer of a normal HD camera, to maximize performance on record.

Another first for Sony is launching free software File Rescue that allows recovery of accidentally deleted videos and photos on the cards. This software can be downloaded free by registered card holders on the site. Details here.

The new SDHC cards will be available from March this year in versions up to 32 GB storage capacity. The cards are shock resistant and high temperature is the ideal choice for travel or other occasions that require maximum performance cards.

Sony presents the first XQD cards
