Sony Ericsson delays Xperia X10 family Android 2.1

Sony Ericsson has said that it is delaying the roll-out of its Android 2.1 update for the Xperia X10, X10 mini, and X10 mini pro yet again. This time it's a "couple of more weeks." Despite naming that time frame, Sony Ericsson did say the roll-out will begin at the end of October. The Android 2.1 roll-out schedule has changed many times. Sony Ericsson originally promised the update in Q3 2010, then it said September. Eventually it was pushed until "late October."
