LG phone have become one of the popular devices among texters for years through Verizon’s enV series. One of enV series that catch lots of attention is LG enV3 VX9200. LG enV3 VX9200 looks like an odd candy bar phone equips with 1.6 inches External LCD 65K Color TFT screen and numeric keypad. Between external screen and keypad, there are circular 5-way d-pad with a Contacts shortcut button, a CLR button, an End button and a Send button. End button also serves as Power button. The external screen can display date, time, signal strength, battery life, and photo caller ID. Below the screen, on the other side is 4-row full QWERTY keyboard along with a squared-off 5-way d-pad, an End button, a Send button, and a CLR button. LG enV3 VX9200 is compact and light, measuring 104 mm x 53 mm x 17 mm and weighing 108 grams. The enV3 is covered with high quality plastic except the back which is slightly rubberized.
It runs on dual band CDMA (800/1900MHz) to connect to Verizon's network, with support of high-speed data EVDO. It supports SMS with threaded view and MMS. Some instant messaging applications such as AIM, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo! are already installed. For email support, there are three option; Mobile Email, Corporate Mail, and Mobile Web Mail. Mobile Web Mail allows the user to access the link of mobile portals for Windows Live Hotmail, AOL mail, Yahoo! Mail, and Verizon.net mail. For surfing internet, LG enV3 VX9200 supports full HTML web browser. Verizon’s VZ Navigator driving direction application is also equipped to serve as a GPS.
Other features on LG enV3 VX9200 are Bluetooth (version 2.1), games, music player, video player and an external memory via micro SD up to 16 GB. LG enV3 battery is 950mAh, which seems small but is more than enough for this cell phone.
