Text messaging phone has become a potential market recently. In order to join the competition, LG has developed amazing phones along with great performance. One of them is LG enV2 VX-9100. How does the phone envy other text messaging phone? Here is the full detail of LG enV2.
At first impression, LG enV2 VX-9100 looks like a typical old voice phone, small display and big numeric keypad measuring at the dimension of 4 x 2.1 x 0.65 inches and weighing at 4.2 ounces. Flip it open and you will see the other personality of this phone. The external side of LG enV2 VX-9100 is housed by 1.5 inches LCD display screen. The external screen shows signal strength, date, time, battery life, caller ID and SMS text. Below the screen, there are Music button, Up and Down Scrolling buttons, OK button, CLR button (to erase text input), Send button and End Button (Power button) as well as big numeric keypad. Flip open the phone and there is 1.5 x 2.4 inches (320 x 240 pixels) 262K colors LCD screen along with speaker next to it. Below the screen is full QWERTY keyboard. There are also advanced features such as 300 message inbox capacity, message sorting, and auto text readout. LG enV VX-9100 is also supported by integrated IM client like AIM, Yahoo! and Windows Live Messenger. Furthermore, the email is provided with POP3/IMAP account as well as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Windows Live Mail, AOL and AIM mail. LG enV VX-9100 runs on CDMA network and already support EVDO network to make a connection on email, internet as well as IM. It is not a smartphone, but it does great job.
LG enV VX-9100 equips with 2.0 megapixels camera without flash which can capture images in four resolutions: 1600 x 1200 pixels (default), 1280 x 960 pixels, 640 x 480 pixels and 320 x 240 pixels. The camera can also record up to 30 seconds of video for sending and up to one hour for saving onto the phone. Videos can be recorded in the resolution of 320 x 240 pixels or 176 x 144 pixels. For multimedia, LG enV comes up with basic media player both for music and video player.
In storing data, LG enV2 VX-9100 is supported by 63 MB of internal memory. And if it is not enough, there is external memory available via microSD card up to 8 GB. LG enV also comes up with Bluetooth v1.2 for the connectivity. There is also VZ Navigator GPS system, which gives audible turn-by-turn directions.
