Blackberry Curve series has been increasingly sold in the telecommunication market for its two basic double functions, the first is that Blackberry Curve is an easy-to-handle smartphone and the second is its friendly design. Blackberry Curve 8330 is a Curve series released in the end of 2007. This smartphone gets a high respond from the users because 8330 series is included on the early series of Blackberry. Although this series is not included as the GSM phone series but the users of 8330 is high. With the 113 grams of weight, Curve 8330 is not really heavy to bring. Moreover, this phone is created as the QWERTY phone that the weight is appropriate enough with the basic design of the phone. Completed with trackball, the Blackberry Curve 8330 is easy to navigate from side to side and corner to corner of the screen. The feature on Curve 8330 is considered as the first feature that has successfully made Blackberry to be one of the most prestigious smartphones in the world.
With the internal memory of 32 MB until 96 MB, Curve 8330 can store a huge amount of data consisting of pictures, music and others. However, when the memory is not enough to handle the need of the users data, the external memory of microSD up to 4GB can be added on this phone. Blackberry Curve 8330 is not completed with the GPRS or EDGE service due to its lack ability as the early smartphone by Blackberry. Curve 8330 is built with the Bluetooth A2DP that enables the users to share the data with other Blackberry users. Completed with the 2MP camera in the LED flash, this phone can capture the important moment that the users find on the street or other areas. It can be also functioned as the video recorder since the phone has an ability to record a short 3gp video through its camera. Although lack of function, Curve 8330, which has not been added with the Java and GPS, is still completed with the Blackberry maps that can guide the users everywhere they go. This phone can be used for playing any type of sounds started from MP3, WAV and also MP4.
Blackberry Curve 8330 is included as a long lasting phone because it can stand by up to 24 hours with the talk time up to 5 hours. Built using Blackberry operating system in 312 MHz, Curve 8330 can handle the users’ need of communicating through email. With the ability of push email, faster SMS and MMS, Curve 8330 is good enough for the activity such as sending and receiving email. The vintage look of Blackberry Curve 8330 is available in titanium, pink and black color. Overall, using this series of phone is not disappointing. Although it is lack of ability on browsing and updating software through Java, the availability of Blackberry OS can help the users explore the world inside Blackberry Curve 8330. Since it was produced for years ago, the price will be cheaper.
